Donor Event at KALW Studios

Last weekend KALW 91.7, my local public radio station, hosted an event to celebrate the contributions of its donors and volunteers. I was invited to bring my camera and record the happening. The station opened its studios and put together a fascinating afternoon at their facilities.
Donors, volunteers and staff outside studios.
Many KALW staff and contributors were on hand, and visitors watched and participated in active productions. Marty Nemko was in Studio B recording five-minute career makeovers, JoAnn Mar was engineering the afternoon radio shows, and the Crosscurrents news team had their studio open to record segments for ongoing projects. The afternoon delivered a great sense of what KALW is all about. I am perennially impressed with what this talented group accomplishs with their resources. The photo set captures some of the activities and spirit of the day.
